Anna-Karin Bergius comes from Gotland in Sweden. Gotland is an island located in the Baltic Sea. She creates abstract dramatic landscapes in muted colors from the barren island landscape. In recent times, she has been inspired by the sea and the patterns of the sky. She often paints in acrylic and oil pastel chalk.
