Anna Brandt

A Melbourne-based surface designer, she began painting in 2019 after the passing of her mother, an artist whose materials she inherited. This marked the start of a deeply personal creative journey. Her work is inspired by childhood memories, Nordic nature, and places both visited and imagined - especially gardens and landscapes shaped by light and color. Nature and flowers are central to her practice, and painting serves as a meditative process that brings calm and release. Influenced by her mother’s expressive use of color and a creatively rich family, her work reflects a lifelong connection to creativity.
