Hilde Hveding Håvardsen

Hilde Hveding Håvardsen is a self-taught artist and photographer based in Vesterålen, northern Norway. Originally from Oslo, she draws inspiration from the rugged Nordic landscapes around her. Working mainly in acrylic and watercolor, she creates semi-abstract seascapes and natural scenes that explore the space between realism and emotion. Hilde has no formal art education; she works professionally in social media, marketing, and language editing. She exhibits her paintings and handmade jewelry in a shared studio with another local artist. Her art evokes quiet melancholy, balanced with hope. “Don’t be afraid of your feelings,” she says. “They connect us to the world.”
